JURY DEPARTMENT
 
 
The Jury Department is responsible for the drawing of all Civil, Criminal, and Grand Juries and
issuing the summonses for all of the prospective jurors drawn.
 
Other duties include:
  • Issuing notification to the local newspaper of prospective jurors in Criminal matters.
  • Notification to attorneys of the drawing of prospective jurors in Civil matters.
  • Calling of the roll call of all juries.
  • Transference of jurors by order of the District Court through the District Court Coordinator.
  • Reporting juror information (mileage and days served) for proper payment to jurors and prospective jurors.

PASSPORT DEPARTMENT
 
WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS IN THE PASSPORT DEPARTMENT
 
The Passport Department is responsible for assisting individuals who appear and fill out an application for a passport.  You can fill out the application in our office or go to www.travel.state.gov and fill out the application before you come into the office.
 
To be issued a passport you must appear in person and have the following:
 
  • A properly filled-out application;
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship, which is an original or a certified copy of your birth certificate or naturalization certificate;
  • Proof of identity (a valid driver's license, government ID card, etc.);
  • One (1) passport picture measuring 2" x 2" each.  Click here for passport picture regulations.
            Note:  The Clerk of Court's Office does NOT take photographs for passports!
                       You must have this done before you come in to apply.
 
Fees:
 
 
A fee of $110.0 for adults and children age 16 and over (add card for $30.00); payable by check or money order to the U. S. Department of State.  This passport is valid for ten years.
It normally takes 4-6 weeks to receive.*
 
A fee of $80.00 for children age 15 and under (add card for $15.00); payable by check or money order to the U. S. Department of State.  This passport is valid for five years.
 
A $25.00 processing fee, payable by cash only to the Clerk of Court.  (This fee applies to 
each passport application for minors and adults.) 
 
*You may apply for an expedited passport which should arrive in 2-3 weeks.  The same requirements apply as above except the fees are as follows:
 
Adult:  $190.66 (Add card) $220.66
 
Minor book:  $160.66 (Add card) $175.66
